Speed Up Your English is designed for the purpose to improve the students’ skill in listening, speaking, reading, vieweing, writing and presenting skill by applying the genre-based method in every chapter. Activities in this book are designed to improve the students’ skill in English independently. By using this genre-based method (BKoF, MoT, JCoT and ICoT) hopefully it can encourage the students to develop their competence in using English as well as their discourse and cultural levels. In each chapter, there are Tasks to give the students standard exercises, Group Project to familiarize the students in social interaction and Individual Project to improve individual skill and creativity of every student in a certain subject. Get Focus will give detail information or more material to study for the students. To make easier in memorizing the material, Point Out is given as material summary.
